What the template does

What makes the hostel template different

Hostels are not budget hotels. Guests decide based on vibe, reviews, and social proof, not just price. The template is built around that.
  1. 1

A booking button that converts on mobile

    Block included in the template

A slow or ugly booking module is the fastest way to send guests back to an OTA. The template includes a booking block that works on mobile, shows your dorms and private rooms correctly, and communicates that the price here is lower than on Booking.com. That has been legal since September 2024, thanks to the EU rate parity ban.

  2. 2

Reviews and social proof in the right place

    Block included in the template

Reviews inline on the room page and a mood block for photos of the common areas. Guests weighing your site against an OTA see exactly what they are choosing. You upload the photos through the dashboard, the template does the rest.

  3. 3

    A newsletter for returning guests

    Block included in the template

The first booking can come from Hostelworld or Booking. The second one does not need to cost you OTA fees. The template has a sign-up block for your newsletter. Guests who book twice generate zero commission costs on the second and every following booking.

  4. 4

    Built SEO-first

    Built in by default

Every hostel template has the right Google signals, fast load times, a generated sitemap, and meta settings you fill in yourself. Organic guests cost no commission. The marketing module deepens this with step-by-step guidance on local SEO, blogs, and your Google profile.

How fast can I go live with my hostel site?
You build the site for free through the dashboard, at your own pace. Happy with it? Pay for your first month and connect your domain. From first login to live can take just a few days. No domain yet? We register one for you.
Does the template work alongside Hostelworld and Booking.com?
Yes. Hostelworld and Booking.com stay your storefront: they deliver volume, especially for international backpackers. Your own site makes sure returning guests and organic visitors book direct next time. The EU rate parity rule from September 2024 gives you the legal room for that: you are allowed to be cheaper on your own site.
Can I connect my own booking software?
Yes. You paste your booking system or booking link into the dashboard. Working with Cloudbeds, Beds24, or HostelManager? That goes through a simple integration. No double administration, no overbooking risk.
What if I already have a domain with an old site?
You keep that domain. It often already carries Google ranking and backlinks you do not want to throw away. Hotelmark only replaces the site, not the domain. Your business email keeps working as usual.
What does the plan cost for a hostel?
The website starts at 25 euros per month. Add the marketing module and it is 45 euros per month. No annual contract, cancel anytime, month to month. Build for free and pay once you are happy with it.
